I just heard on the news that 0.3% of tests have come back negative. It's ALL the Marlins basically. So shut down the season because it's one team?

ehhh why'd they agree to these guidelines? It was actually the MLBPA that didn't want a bubble. It was proposed to be a bubble in Arizona and a bubble in Florida. Apparently in Arizona they had the number of fields in a close proximity to make it work.

They declined.

With the sheer vastness of these MLB facilities and resources, they should’ve have a damn bubble in place. 10+ players/crew on one team getting sick a fukking ridiculous.

McCourtey on his podcast said that he's seen NFL players goin wherever treating the virus like nothing going on. It won't work.

That's the point breh, they ARE needed. You can't have a record-based playoff without all the teams playing the same amount of games, less 1, maaaaaaaybe 2. But 5?

At that point you might as well just bring back the BCS computers and have them pick playoff teams for us based on lowest xFIP and highest exit velocities or some shyt

Facts. I've played outdoors visiting fam in Phoenix one summer. It's murder Even the early evenings when you expect it to get cooler, it can still be in the 100s.
Off topic but it's wild that MLB let the Twins build an outdoor stadium. Target Field is dope but it shoulda been a retractable roof stadium.

Arizona and Florida are not realistic options. The players would be gassed after a week. You're trying to argue otherwise so I'm not gonna engage in that kind of disingenuous back and forth.

A bubble isn't realistic for this many teams and players. They shouldn't have done the season. The only safe option woulda been to have all the teams in Montana or Wyoming but obviously states like that don't have the facilities to handle this. Canada too but I don't believe MLB would move the entire league out of the country.
