:hhh::hhh::hhh::hhh:That bullshyt isn't baseball. They would be better off having ties after 11 innings or something.

Its an unearned run. Its like a simulation. For certain teams its like you work hard to tie or keep it tied only for the extra inning leaning towards an automatic loss

So basically their normal attendance :mjlol:

How many times have I dealt with this one today smh

Chicago has done relatively well with Corona tho, this would be a nice sign if this follows through. It would be amazing to be that spread out in the ballpark. I’ve been at games in April with this type of attendance and it feels like you have a section to yourself. Would be easy to distance, just need to setup protocols for food/drink and entering/exiting the stadium.

I’m guessing it will be a lottery to see who’s able to purchase tickets for games?

https://nypost.com/2020/06/24/wilpons-motivated-to-sell-mets-by-end-of-2020/

Wilpons coulda sold the Mets for $2.6 billion in February. Latest offer from the guys who own the Sixers and Devils is $1.4 billion. :wow:

That source also expected early bids on the team to come in at more than $2 billion, citing increased revenue from MLB’s new TV deal with Turner Sports and potential new deal with ESPN as a positive for the Mets’ valuation.

But that argument is not swaying some insiders.

“Hard to believe in the midst of this pandemic and the fallout,” said one banker about the $2 billion valuation. “MLB teams are going to be significantly cash flow negative for the next 2-3 years minimum.”

And it is hard to imagine anyone paying much more than 1.4 billion at this point.

The Wilpons are fools.

Among active players, Miguel Cabrera has the best chance at reaching 3,000 hits.
He's currently at 2,815.

Robinson Cano has 2,570 hits. But at 37 years old, he would have to play well into his 40s as a DH and I don't see that happening.

It will be a long time before we see another player with a real chance at 3,000.
Among guys 30 years old and under, Elvis Andrus has 1,723. But he's playing himself out of the league and middle infielders typically do not have the benefit of moving to a corner infield spot to accumulate stats in their twilight years.

Mike Trout and Manny Machado have the best shot.

Man I had the most random quick blurb badeball dream ever.

It was a pop fly to the infield and the 1st baseman gor the phillys who's name is Bowser and wore 28 (i dont eeeen know if thats a real person) was going to get the ball. For some reason the homeplate ump was running behind the baseline, the ball came up short and the 1st baseman and ump collided.

Then the ump just starts beating the shyt outta the guy with straight rights and laughing about it :russ:
He then starts walking off the field laughing the whole time and everybody was cheering for him :pachaha:
