I thought there was no chance they would finish the season but I think they're determined to play through anything at this point and will, regardless of how many infections players get.

I got a Yahoo alert from an article they wrote the yesterday saying the NFL should follow MLB's model and push ahead no matter what. :snoop:

Yahoo is now a part of Verizon Media
I'm sure they're praying no players or staff end up in the hospital b/c that's the only thing that'll take this season down. I don't know what the NFL should do:francis:. A bubble sounds like a logistics nightmare, off the top of my head only a couple cities with 2 or more nfl level stadiums (LA, the Bay), plus the nfl doesn't have the ability to make up games the way baseball can. Their first outbreak might be a cluster fukk.

What are the odds you guys place on actually finishing this season? I still think it's less than 50/50.
I think they’ll bubble for playoffs and just push through the season. I wasn’t optimistic early on but I think they’ll get to the finish line and hopefully develop some sort of playoff bubble

Don't you guys realize the money that is at stake? MLB is going to do everything in their power to keep it going and the PLAYERS low key want it to keep going too.

NFL will be even more determined. They don't give a fukk. Plus, some college sports are moving ahead? lol... professionals ain't sitting if college ain't sitting

we all know what’s at stake. Of course the players that are gonna earn a year of service time and free agency.

Pitchers are gonna suffer the most from this. They didn’t get the time they needed to get ready. Due to covid they weren’t able to work out and do their norms. Paxton might be the next casualty for being shut down. His velocity hasn’t been there all year.

Jose Abreu really deserves to play for a good team, I’m happy for him
