I think Manny made the right call to go for that FG. Trying to score 3 TDs on one play (after the refs jerked you out of 2) was low probability. He took a bet on his defense (when probably nobody else would) and it paid off.
He still got a LOT of work to do, fire Blake Baker is priority number 1.
