How retarded do all those conferences who canceled in August look now. Shoulda just did what the SEC/ACC/Big 12 did which was just wait. Now that the tide has shifted and they wanna get back on.

Yeah I mean if you was gonna cancel the 2020 CFB season then you might as well have canceled the 2021 CFB season too cause I doubt the virus will even disappear completely by next fall, best thing to do is follow proper protocols and procedures, have an abundance of testing, limit fans, and see what happens from there. If it don't work, then it don't work but at least an attempt was made.

they did what they thought they had to go, i fault no school, coach, or conference, this shyt is not a game and they have to worry about litigation, i know you don’t believe fat meat is greasy, but one thing old white men in power know, is protecting your ass, so they acting in the cya (cover your ass) protocol

but folks weren’t following protocols, and at one point there was a limited amount of test, so you would have a situation where kids on your campus could possibly not be able to get tested, but kids on the team are getting them every day . You. Like i mentioned before, i can’t fault anyone for canceling you got folks that has to cya, can you imagine being the first coach/school/conference with someone dead ?? Or severely injured by this ??

You're right, I'm not saying they should've started on time but there should've been more clarity so the players can adjust accordingly too, you had players opting out cause they were told that there would be no season and now they wanna come back, push the start date back to October or November and to allow yourself to get everything in place if you have to but don't cancel in August and then renig on the decision.

That said, I don't blame anyone for not playing this season either, it's a incredibly complex situation, I just hope the ones that do play take it seriously and not play around with this stuff.

also keep in mind some governments had states on lock so even if they wanted to they couldn’t move forward, today we are looking back like why not, but if you think about it, it took a lot to get to this, and there were times where it looked like we wouldn’t have gotten to this point, so to say have a late start, is a bit disingenuous, the only reason we are here today is the money leaning on these programs, and more test available, shyt hasn’t gotten safer, but like i said on the podcast, LSU stood to lose 80 million, what you thought the sec was going to do??
