Idk but just speaking in general.

Imagine Bama vs Ole Miss on a Thursday

usually that’s a directional school or smaller one, and the only reason you a fan of the school, you went there, got family that went there, played there, or from the town that schools in, i mean can you imagine a mf saying they a die hard western Michigan fan or Wyoming fan

I do hate NFL on Thursday though. That shyt used to be the slot where CFB would put an upset waiting to happen game on there. Now???? Not a chance they put something on that'll go against the NFL cause they not gonna win that ratings race no matter what.

If they had Bama vs Tennessee on a Thursday up against the Chiefs and sayyyyy New Orleans....i wonder who wins ratings wise

We’ve had some really good matchups on Thursdays in CFB. I think most times it’s just been a matter of circumstance that some of the teams weren’t big dogs or teams that had fell off. I don’t think the conferences intentionally schedule weak games on Thursdays.

Looking at tonight and last week the NFL CLEARLY does :scust::scust::scust:

Probably sucks from a coach/player perspective but should be great from a national recruiting standpoint though. Only competition is usually some bum ass NFL network game that not many people get anyway.

back in the day you would get a FSU/acc, or Big East game, i still remember that year fsu lost to Louisville on a Thursday night, and when wvu i believe lost to Pitt on a Thursday

Wasn't too long ago that Lamar and Louisville went into Houston and got ALL THE WAY exposed on a Thursday night. I think Stanford upset Oregon and Mariotta on a Thursday night too.

I don’t think Auburn has had one since KSU 6 years ago. shyt was atrocious looking but it was like a curveball pitch...had me tight the entire game through. NCAA should try to push for more mid week H&Hs, esp once athletes start inevitably getting the bag. I would feel morally okay giving them a fukked 2 week burst like that then.

they can’t attack Monday, but imagine Thursday night wars...Oregon/OSU or Bama/OU against the TNF game :wow: Taking that risk is why I respect AEW and later Vince, vs AEW

This a bad post fam. Blue bloods paved the way. They’re blue bloods for a reason. Just because the game done changed don’t mean you brush these schools to the side.
I do think that once the lack of interest in a middling blue blood reaches high enough, we should re-evaluate what it is that program is bringing

but I’ll also contend that even an irrelevant blue blood is in a better spot than half of other programs, bc all it takes is a lil sum to get them back going.
