Nah but they are flagship(idk bout Miami) schools at the the 3 biggest hot spots for high school football

Well Miami aint been great in damn near 20 years.
USC has been soso for 15
And Texas only has a great season once every 10 years and rarely ever wins their conference.
I think CFB does pretty damn good without them

I agree, and I think Cowherd doesn't realize that Miami is not a traditional power, they just had an historic 20 year run.

But yeah CFB has ate well the past decade.

4 of the greatest National Championship games ever happened last decade, none involved USC, Texas, or Miami.

Remember for years people was like "we need Notre Dame to be relevant again" but now that they're somewhat relevant again, people ready for them to go back to irrelevancy.

I'd even argue that the TCU and Baylors being good is more interesting, that 2014 season was crazy good.

I can understand the argument if you looking at it from casual POV, the flashy big city swag of the U would attract a casual over the machine/process like Alabama or a christian based program like Dabo led Clemson.

2017 Miami for about 11 weeks was must see tv, still I don’t think the sport needs a certain school to be great to thrive, and I have that same train of thought when it comes to all sports.
