Look the Dolphins plan is to take a QB next year. Noone feel like Haskins will be that good. If i had to guess (again i'm no expert) there's a reason why Giants, Raiders, Denver, and Cincinnati , all interested in QBs passed up on him. Like i was saying earlier you spend a 1st rounder on a QB you LOVE. Not one you just LIKE. THe guy yo just LIKE is 2nd and 3rd round territory. THat's how we ended up with Tannehill anyway. Ireland LIKED Tannehill and paid LOVE price for him. Once they realized the mistake and since they had invested a 1st rounder in him they kept giving chances to prove himself.

I know this franchise has burned us the last 2 decades but I get what they're doing so just wait and see

Brown really isn't a fit for Lamar though he needs bigger, possession type WRs where the catch radius is bigger and he doesn't have to make accurate throws deep down the field

Yes i knwo we need a QB. But we need the right QB. I'm no scout or expert but honestly i wasnt impressed. I'm guessing the FO believes that he's not the guy that could fix our QB issue and if you take a QB this year and still suck at the position you cant just use another 1st rounder again on one next year.

Again im no expert but it makes sense to me. You take a guy you love in the 1st round. You take a guy you feel okay about in the 2nd or 3rd. That's where Ireland fukked up. he only LIKED Tannehill but he threw a 1st rounder at him in desperation.

The main reason we went after BridgeWater and Fitz is because we didnt want to feel pressured to take the WRONG QB just to pick one
