This has been a funny second half....Nats are playing lights out and leading the WC by 3 games, Braves are 5+ up in the division and playing well, and the Mets are right back to where they were earlier in the year. Bullpen issues, offense issues, can't hold leads, manager falling asleep. etc etc

I forgot to mention Diaz giving up HRs again, and Familia quietly with a 6.00 ERA.

Now Diaz is hurt, he looks like he's suffering from depression on the mound, JEEZ. Sugar? More like salt.

This is turning into a classic Mets vs Braves late August/September match-up. I'm talking 90's level shyt.

Mets could've won game 1 but gave it away, zero offense.
Mets could've won game 2, had a lead, and of course gave it away in embarrassing fashion.

I ain't even trying to be pessimistic, but I won't be surprised if they lost today 1-0.

If you were old enough to witness Mets vs Braves in the 90s you know what I'm talking about.
