As they should, it makes no fukking sense. For now, for the off-season, or for next season. We need pitching depth.
The Mets internal scouting is just objectively awful. How many times have they been wrong to not set off alarm bells that we need to do things differently? The Mets always think they're one step ahead of the league in doing shyt like this and they're always 4 steps behind it instead. It's so fukking infuriating.
Remember kids, you too can be an abject failure of a business man but as long as you steal enough money from municipal pension funds and cycle it through enough dark money sources you too can be rich forever by buying a baseball team and letting your unqualified failure of a fukkup child run the team for the rest of he and his fukk up failure son's natural lives.
