I don't trade him for 2 reasons. His value is low now because of his struggles, though im 100% confident he bounces back. And I don't trust Jeff and Brodie to know how to get a good return. We got raped by Seattle and im sure every other team is licking their chops at a chance to BrodieIf the Mets trade Syndergaard and he begins dominating again, it'll be what this organization and fanbase deserves for writing him off after one bad half. Prospects are overvalued in baseball.
Don't you mean trading with Jeff? He is calling the shots and picked BVW over that Bloom guy.I don't trade him for 2 reasons. Only way it would get interesting is if Fred and Jeff got hit by the same busAfter all these years, I should be immune to this team, but once again they manage to find a way to disappoint.
At the beginning of the season I thought the bats would be the team weakness. No ces and a bunch of young kids and who knew what cano would do. I thought the pen would be a strength. Fam has all the talent in the world, Diaz was unhittable, Lugo and gselmen were good pieces. Who could have predicted Diaz would struggle so much considering he's healthy and still has his stuff.
I didn't think we were world beaters, but this is still basically the same staff that took us to the world series with a vastly improved pen. It's probably the weed talking, but a miracle run is not out of the question. It's not probable and won't happen, but this team has pieces that can compete. Trading Thor would be a high mistake. One doesn't sell stock when the price is low.
Maybe Mickey would get hit by a bus and we can make the rest of the season interesting.
