This is why I can't shake the feeling that Hollywood Liberalism is just so transparently grandstanding and face-saving, especially at these award shows. They'll preach women's equality and bring out all these powerful female figures in a "look at us we're so progressive" manner, but then 2 minutes later out comes Miley Cyrus who appropriated the fukk out of black culture to further her image and career, portraying the very stereotypes that the industry has pegged black entertainers as for decades, and when that phase ended she took the money she made and promptly got the fukk out.
