Let me ask you this though, when has the 3rd or 4th seed mattered other than the OSU year? Bama won last year granted, but they shouldn’t have been allowed to make that by the CFP’s own rubric. Plus there was no upset factor as Kelly Bryant already wasted his one good game per season

I rather have the BCS system if it meant bowl season mattered in general

I didn’t disqualify the OSU year, but 2017-18 should clearly be treated as an anomaly.
