Wait till basketball season if you wanna are what a L is. Bama hasn’t had a 5* b-ball player in more than a decade and we just came in and took him from y’all. That’s way worst than any football player cuz we’re goin to get players regardless.

I mean I would expect y’all to better than us in basketball next year by adding Watford and being fortunate to still keep Wade.

We’ll just be happy to not lose to Norfolk State in the first round of the NIT.

Still I don’t know what that has to do with this discussion in a football thread so you basically proved nothing.

You said we can’t take a L when Louisiana kids do well at Bama but that’s not a L Cuz players are to come to LSU regardless. And anyways we goin to root for LA kids regardless as long as they don’t make themselves to be a villian like Speedy Noil did.

And taking Watford from y’all was way more impactful, it’s not like y’all turn around and take another 4-5* player in his place

you think it's just a "mentality" that a school has that they can't shake? Like this is what you're known for, don't try and get away from it type of thing. It may not make sense but I think you get where i'm coming from.

We use to move the ball when Jimbo was OC. But when Les Miles started putting antiquated (check the vocabulary) hands all over the offense he set us back to the Stone Age. We had an offense that had Beckham JR, Jarvis Landry, Jeremy Hill, Mettenberger, Russell Shepard, Travis dikkson, and Alfred Blue all pro players on the same offense and didn’t do jack with all that talent.

I do believe what O says when he says we will be spread and we will have 5 wide but running the ball and tiring teams out? I don’t think that will ever leave LSU, too many good RBs come from the state to go away from that. I will say Louisiana doesn’t develop the linemen that it use to tho.

Plus our O line ain’t nothing but run blocking guards. We gonna start out doing all that no huddle spread stuff, but when it comes down to it we just don’t have that type of personnel. And Louisiana high schools don’t produce those type of linemen.
