He wasn't a first round pick because of anything Michigan did for him. If his production was better he would have been a top 5 pick. I didn't say he should've came to Bama. Auburn or Clemson would have been much better options since they are both better than Michigan at developing DL talent. And Hand was garbage that's why he went in the 4th round, he never flashed anything special at all to warrant being a first round pick.Why? He was a first round pick and is making millions.

Him falling and not being a top 5 pick was his own doing. The staff identified him better as an interior DLineman, but he wanted the stats. He wanted to be a star.. so he demanded that he play outside. He tried it for three year, and while he did what was asked of him, his stats suffered big time. As for the bold, I agree. I think Clemson and Auburn do a better job of developing D lineman. Problem is, those are 2 of the schools that offered him $$$$, and Momma Gary wasn't havin it.
Would have gotten developed at anywhere else.
