Your OL is still pretty non discript though. Lucas should be solid but how soon is yet to be determined.
Akers, for whatever reason, just doesn't seem like he fits at FSU. I don't know what it is but even as a freshmen under Jimbo, he never looked like he fit. He's weird. He's talented, but I think he's as good as he'll get if that makes sense. Weren't some FSU fans thinking that Grant and Labron are better fits than Cam?

I was talking about our O line last season. People forget that Ball our decent lineman was kicked off the team. Then let's not forget about the injuries which made the line more trash.
With the grad transfers and the freshman that say last year it will be improved. Will it be like Whisky's line? Hell no but Blackman won't say hike and have a DT in his face.
And thank you. I was annihilated because I didn't get the Cam Akers hype. He's good but he can't stop tripping over his own feet. Too many times I've see green grass wide open field and he is tripped up by himself.
He also dances too much instead of hitting the hole. Now people are starting to agree with what I'm saying after a few years. Naw most FSU fans weren't riding with Laborn. After he picked us I haven't seen any fans talk about him. Just the little he played I could see he is a player maker.
No doubt the line was bad. But he pretty much had the same line Cook did his first year. He got 1k rushing but his potential should have been more than that
I've said Laborn was legit from the gate. Hate that he got hurt last year. If they done make him the starter later in this season or at least get the majority of the snaps he's gone. He had that natural talent

so I can't speak on it but there was A LOT of chatter even before the season went south that Akers just doesn't have "it". I think he just had the unfortunate task of following up Cook. It reminds me of when Travis Minor followed up Warrick Dunn. Minor was really solid and consistent, but since he followed Dunn and they had somewhat the same stature, you thought you'd be getting 3-4 more years of Dunn but he never lived up to that. That's what I see with Akers. He's solid, but he's not Cook. Hell kinda like us when Percy left and Dubose came the following year. Well he just ended up being garbage anyways

Laborn will make you say wtf in a good way. Willie T should really make him the starter by mid season or before if he shows out. He will hit that transfer portal after this season if he doesn't get major reps that would be in Willie. He almost lost Blackman from being loyal to that bum Francois.
