It's a bad headline but it doesn't hurt( I hate California players coming to FL....they soft) , Elam is good and even though Diwun Black was my favorite recruit his grades were horrible hopefully they place him in a JUCO away form Mississippi.If it's JUST Steele transferring and Black and Zipperer not qualifying this year, then i'm ok. nah not really. Black COULD have seen PT this year but it would have been splitting snaps. Keon wasn't seeing the field at all this year but Steele actually would have been the first DB in the dime package or starting if Marco isn't back to full strength.
Right. If we get into a bind, we'll slide Trey back to CB and Huggins will go to STAR. Brian Edwards wasn't a world beater or difference maker himself. Elam, Kimbrough, and hopefully Jaydon will do just fine (if he does stay that is). Def need to do all we can to not have 12 back there getting snaps

Steele’s transfer was reportedly prompted by the Florida coaching staff not granting his request to change his dormitory in his first month on campus. According to Zach Abolverdi of The Gainesville Sun, Steele was “uncomfortable rooming with quarterback Jalon Jones” but was told that his dorm would not change until the summer session, which “upset Steele and his parents.”
Two female students accused Jones of sexual assault after a set of incidents at the dorm on April 6. The women decided not to press charges, but Jones entered the NCAA transfer portal and Steele’s name wound up in some reports simply because he was Jones’ roommate. The incidents “prompted Steele to seek a transfer, according to Abolverdi.
