@Trust Me whats going on up there aside from South Africa planned trips? What you take from spring are you guys going to be able to run the ball against quality opponents? How are those on campus in freshmen looking? Is the QB job up for grabs or is it Shae job still with Milton and Mc in Mop Up duty all year? Defensive backs look to be some big big ????? until freshmen arrive.

@Francium is Dorian Thompson-Robinson(he from SC lol) ready to shine? Joshua Kelley can be best back in the PAC-12 what is he looking like this spring. So this spring did you feel the team has learned the Chip system and is ready score points at a fast pace? I remember seeing that the special teams was dam near a joke last year wonder if that will be better.

@Mister Marcus did this spring make you feel comfortable about Ian Brook as the starter? We know defensive line is going to be tough what about the other positions did any others stand out as individuals? Any improvement to the Oline? Who you like starting at RB?

Lia, while both are still green obviously, I feel like Taulia will get a grasp of things quicker than Tyson will.
shyt Mac is gonna be the starter for 2 years after Tua probably. Lia might end up transferring if he doesn't win the job as a RS Soph in a few years.

I didn't know he was from SC. I'm rooting for DTR for obvious reasons, but he still has to get better on plays which require multiple reads. He can throw darts and his touch is improving, but he just needs time to improve on the reads. On the ground, I think he will be at his best on read options (which Chip has shown a bit this Spring). Redshirt soph Burton has given him a bit of a challenge and is more accurate, but his balls float at times when going down field. Now that I think about, all three of our QBs on scholies are brothas. :ehh:

Kelley has been Kelley. At this point, the reports and vids have focused more on RB2/3s because Kelley has RB1 on lock and continues to show he could be a NFL back. I expect him and ASU's Benjamin to be the best two backs in the conference.

Not sure the team has gotten the offense yet. They have some really good days and really bad days too (there was one day they didnt score a TD all day in scrimmage), but the team overall looks more sharp and acclimated to Chip's system overall. He let the ST coach leave to Oklahoma and has taken more hands on approach with it, because everyone knew it was trash. He has more playable and older depth this season, so he has no excuse getting to a bowl game. Most of our fans are expecting a 7-win season including the bowl game. I think that's fair.

Yea we haven't seen his best yet but he has all of the tools really, he's just one of those guys that takes 2-3 years before he's ready. He's gonna get a ton of playing experience this year with how bad our schedule is so that will give him a big advantage over Lia. And I like Lia but he isn't Tua and I don't see us bringing in one of the big QB recruits this year. And Tyson isn't going to be any good imo.

Before Jalen and Tua, all of Saban's QBs were 3-4 year guys. And we just didn't have a good enough QB that stuck around long enough or Jalen probably wouldn't have started as a freshman, he was just the only option really besides Barnett who was a true soph. And obviously Tua just a generational talent we won't get another one of him for awhile. Mac is gonna be another McCarron

Book had a good spring. Very accurate on the short/intermediate throws. Against the best defenses they'll play like UGA he needs to be better on the deep throws which was his weakness last year. WR Chase Claypool and TE Cole Kmet stood out during the spring. Both of those positions overall have good talent/depth. I'm wait and see mode with the OL even though we've got 4 starters returning. Still not sold on our OL coach. Jafar Armstrong will be the guy at RB. He should be more comfortable after moving there from WR last year. LB is really the only question mark on defense. Coney and Tranquill will be hard to replace. I think we'll be a 10 win team. Maybe more if the OL and LB's really step up.
