I didn't get to engage with you bruh's like I wanted to because my son's birthday was the 28th also so I had split attention.
Good game that could have went either way. I actually think the play of the game for Clemson was Tanner Muse running Dobbins down to save a TD.
Contrary to what people keep saying over and over again...the refs actually let the teams play for the most part. I saw plays were Xavier Thomas for us and #4 Fuller for you guys could have got hit with Targeting calls and didn't. I saw some of your db's grabbing wr's collars and I saw K'Von Wallace grab Olave's jersey. But for the most part then were more than happy to just let these 2 team beat up on each other so they could be banged up for LSU.
Fields is a beast. I was more impressed with him after the game than I was before it. I think in year 2 he'll learn that he can trust his arm more instead of taking sacks. He was lucky he wasn't picked off 4 times but I'm glad Day them forget he could run for most of the game because it was a bunch of plays where he could have taken off and got bunch yardage.
I think when you watch the game again without so much emotion invested in it ...most people will see the game for what it really was...a great game full of luck, missed chances, momentum swings, and will.
Tee Higgins going out of the game after the first series changed everything Clemson wanted to do. We had to move Ross around and play a true freshman and as bad luck would have it Ross fell funny and got a Stinger. That lead to some ugly play calling for a while as the OC's figured out what to do and it allowed y'all DC's to basically pin back and go super aggressive to stop the run banking on the back ups to not run great routes. Prior to Higgins going down Clemson had a 8yd run by Etienne, 21yd catch by Higgins, TL no gain on a run and then the offsides call on the incomplete to Higgins when he got injured. Clemson picked up a first but stalled out on a WR curl that if it was Higgins would have been an easy catch.
Missed chances by Clemson were the 2 INTs that Kendrick and Wallace dropped. Kendrick's was an easy Pick 6 while Wallace could have been a pick 6 too but at least it would have gave Clemson the ball nearly in the redzone. Ross dropped passes that would have extended drives as did Overton.
People are not giving Clemson's defense enough credit. Each of those Dobbin's drops were on 3rd down so they did tighten up to force those FGs so that was a big win. Add to the fact that after that 3rd FG OSU next 8 possessions were: Punt, Punt, Punt, Punt, INT, TD, Punt, INT with four of those were 3 plays and out.
It really came down to coaching adjustments and Clemson did just enough to stay afloat and then set some plays up to take advantage of an aggressive OSU defense when i mattered most.

I don't agree with everything but I can't deny y'all did y'all thing and handled BI when it counted the most. Leading up to it, I felt like the game would be a coin flip from jump and would either come down to in-game coaching adjustments or who had the ball last and it was pretty much both of those things. Hopefully, we can meet up again next year and run it back.
LOL. I was tryna figure out what bruh meant by that like they on some Miami Hurricanes redemption story and been down in the mud for however long or they some downtrodden school who havent won yet.
But I think he maybe he mean just the shyt talking and whatnot and catchin a lil flack for Dabo being annoying & the AAC 2.0 ish etc but thats all in the game. Believe you me, @Woodwerkz is the minority, not the majority. Go to their personal team boards or Twitter & dem nikkas talkin big shyt, lol.
