I think they were benefitted by the lack of good defensive lines in the SEC this year. Bama’s and MSU’s fell wayyy off. Florida dealt with some injuries. LSU’s sucked too I’m pretty sure.

I don’t know about everyone but in the two matchups I’m using as a foundation, LSU’s OL was getting sonned by our 3 man front until they held OD. We had to throw quite a few 4 man fronts at Bama, and that Leatherwood monster was tossing around Derrick Brown often.

Mannn I don't know what happened with our DL this year, injuries hurt with Ray and Dale but I thought Raekwon would have taken that next step but he's only been good, not great, nothing like his 2017 season. Barmore was nice though.

Raekwon just wasn’t that good to begin with. It was clear when he had other first round picks around him on the DL in the past, and still didn’t make that much of an impact.

Yea Raekwon was just a space eater at best. And after him we just had a bunch of freshmen since Ray was out. Should be a much improved group next year

Y'alls defense wasn't gonna be able to stop them either way. And y'all still got plenty of weapons on offense, just run the ball and bleed the clock to get them off the field.

We have the number 25 overall defense in collfootball. Went from 129th to 25, our D gets buckets in terms of stops.

But our besr DL is out and now possibly our best DB. Sucks
