Not surprised. Some states just don’t have good HS football. Kinda seems like most of the midwest don’t have much talent
We got a verbal from the state of michigan player of the year in this class. Ohio and Pennsylvania have plenty of talent, but teams like OSU,PSU, ND, and michigan usually out recruit MSU. What MSU has done in the past very well is develop 3* talent and been able to compete.

That's cool and all but these nikka use to at least get some Top 15-20 classes. They're getting worse by the year. Thirties, fourties, etc. Suppose to be one of the premier programs of the BIG and they're class #11 in the conference so far. :gag:

I bet he a scrappy kid who bring his lunchpail everyday.
They'll make a player of him.

What the hell is going on @Whips-n-Chains :gucci:

MSU is absolute trash. Dantonio will not fire his homies that are assistants...he just rearranges their job titles.

I can’t blame a kid that doesn’t want to go play at an unstable program rn

if you’re a 4* or 5* kid in MI why the fukk would you play at MSU or UM unless you’re a diehard fan of either school.

I’d go to OSU play 2 years and be a 1st rounder if I’m sticking close to home or go play at Clemson, warm weather, SEC clout while playing in the ACC.

Nah, breh.

They in a mf'in freefall right now. Just 2-3 years ago, these nikkas had a Top 16 class, then top 25, then top 30, and now I think they're either approaching or in the 40s.

You and smitty both right. Our bread n butter was developing 2* and 3* unpolished gems and getting them in the NFL. The only highly recruited players we had in the league were Gholston, Montae Nicholson, Edwin Baker, Malik McDowell’s can’t get right ass...

Leveon, cousins, trae Waynes, darqueze Denard, shilique calhoun, Conner cook, etc were all 2* or 3*

our recruiting has significantly dropped off. Part of that is that trash ass 3-9 season we had, you can say it’s bc MI has been better but they still recruited well even under rich rod.

dantonio just getting old and the game passed him by tbh. He refuses to re-evaluate himself so he refused to change and adapt. It’s not 2010 anymore or even 2015. If we don’t have an NFL caliber QB we are trash....we haven’t had a black QB in 20+ years man

We still beat OU, I believe.

This makes things significantly harder against Clemson or Ohio St. though.
