Major called last night and was heartbroken by the news. His coach and mother were informed that LSU was not planning on taking his signature.

Major had a great season and it was supported by strong film, but LSU is shifting numbers around to address needs. They were told that LSU is trying to sign a bunch of defensive linemen and his spot would be used for such.

Raymond is a big fan of Burns, so this obviously wasn't his call. At this time, it feels like LSU will only sign one cornerback in this class. With Malcolm Greene likely to flip in coming days, LSU may only sign one safety as well. They are still looking at Reed and Kaufman, but I am hearing that they may not be able to get to either.
