:yeshrug: Big 12 fans have been saying this for this entire decade. Now that LSU, Bama, tOSU, USC, & etc. are all running wide-open spread offenses everybody realizing how hard these offenses are to stop.

If they were so innovative why didn't they win more championships????

Answer:They didn't have the athletes across the board that LSU, Bama, OSU, etc have. Also, the offenses have developed even further from what they where back then. LSU is running pro schemes in their offense also. Bama too. An efficient offense will always be harder to stop than a inefficient one, no matter what scheme is run. The NFL and college game is getting closer and closer to being similar as far as top level play goes for college.

They not gon hear it though, it’s different because it’s the sec, folks would sooner jump in a pool full of lemon juice with paper cuts rather than admit the spread put a lot of defenses in a flux and it’s hard to judge them based off stats

This simply isn’t reality

Being a good offense and or defense don’t mean much in college football and there wasn’t a lot of teams matching up so it’s like you’d see Texas vs usc or FSU

If this was true there would be Big12 defenders getting drafted

No one that really watches CFB believes this.

This is some BS. I've seen some of those 60-50 shootouts. That's not just bad defense... It's disrespectful to the game of football. Offense isn't even good either its a gimmick. We shut down Mahomes when we played them plus our ground and pound Led Miles O put up 56 points.

All of the top teams in the SEC can at least get some stops.
