Aranda's luster probably isn't as bright as it was a year or two ago though.

If I remember correctly Texas or someone was looking at him a year or two ago to come as a DC and LSU reupped him to make him the highest paid assistant in the country if I remember correctly.

Luke went from 6 to 5 to 4 wins and lost his last game to a rival at the last second due to lack of discipline alone. That was a done deal.
As for Kiffin, he’s killed it at FAU and had he not left Bama like he did, would’ve probably been back in the SEC or better P5 team already.

That’s not a done deal tho. You have to have some continuity in your program. Everything can’t always be perfect. It takes time to build a program. These programs won’t ever be shyt firing coaches every 3 years trying to find the next Saban. The only one that made sense was the Arkansas firing.
