There are going to be 2 SEC teams in this year out of Georgia, Bama, and LSU. Everything else is just jibber jabber. That Oregon loss was the last domino that needed to fall.

Not with Mac Jones as your QB and your suspect defense compared to the other playoff teams. If you struggle against Auburn and pull out a win, you’re not getting in over a 12-1 P12 Champ Utah whose only loss was a top 20 USC.

This year’s Bama isn’t at the level as the 2017 team that got in over Big Ten Champ OSU who was only left out because of that bad Iowa loss. Moss was out most the game against a USC team on a Friday night game on the road and they loss by a score. The committee will note that.
