They get too conservative against competition. Against complete trash teams they'll blow em out but against teams with a pulse they let them hang around when they could put their foot on their neck and end it early.

I wanna see Oregon-LSU. That offense would give LSU's defense problems and Oregon's defense would just need to get a few stops if their offense can control the clock with that OL and run game. And their defense is better than ppl think.

I dont think Oregon got the defense to keep that close at all, especially not on the back end. You got down years Washington and Wazzu putting the pasing numbers they did on em (both also having relatively good days on the ground), I cant see UO getting a stop the entire game

They can be great while being down. California is truly the best defense in that conference and they did their things vs both of those teams. All that to say UO wouldnt be able to stop Burrow once if Gordon and Eason got off like how they did.
