That's pretty messed up how they did Willie down there. Black head coaches have to be wise about the spots they put themselves in. Florida State wasn't a bad job to take, but the mess that Jimbo left behind caused Willie not to be able to make it. Florida State will always be impatient with coaches because of how good Bowden was there too.

Think he just had bug eyes looking at the opportunity, looking to get back in Florida, but Oregon was such easy money. Just keep recruiting well and you’ll out talent everyone there except Washington and occasionally USC/Utah

Sounded like Oregon fans were questioning Willie before he left too. I think their views on him got worse when he finally left though. Oregon brehs could enlighten us on that.

No he didn’t deserve that, Oregon was a move because he got all he could out of USF and they were the only ones calling, to my knowledge, i think if he would have stayed he could have did great things but, for a Florida boy you don’t turn down an offer to coach at FSU, as an Oregon fan i can’t be mad at that, that’s like saying ok I’m dating a solid 7-8 and then comes a 10 who wants you, you gon get that p*ssy, and no black coach deserves the shyt he got, he was expected to stop the titanic from sinking right after it hit the iceberg, and whether he was up to snuff in your opinion or not this is going to be used to fukk other black coaches in the future and y’all not seeing this
