This defense is better based on what though? The linebackers are faster (which is amazing btw), Chaisson is healthy, and Stingley isn't coasting like Greedy was. Shelvin is playing up to his potential too.
But I don't see it, the defense last year was stout, and carried the team.

I mean no one in the media really believes that we're #1 and besides y'all will get your wish when LSU destroys us on Nov. 9 so it really doesn't matter.
