Y’all see the SL hot takes from B-R?

Hot Takes from 2018 NBA Summer League

1. Jaren Jackson, Jr. is the best prospect in 2018 NBA draft
2. Marvin Bagley III will be a bust
3. Mitchell Robinson is a better prospect than Mo Bamba and Marvin Bagley III
4. Kevin Knox should have went top 5
5. Trading 16th pick and unprotected first rounder will haunt Phoenix Suns

JJJ looked really good, at times looked like a young KG-lite. I compared him to Marvin Williams and Serge Ibaka but dude is really the prototypical modern big with his shooting and shot blocking. Ayton’s motor and rim protection weren’t good in SL, I still think he is the best prospect because of how physically gifted he is but I could see him being an “empty stats” guy, Coli could possibly have a field day talking about how Ayton only plays for the bag.

I don’t know if Bagley will be a bust but he’s closer to Thaddeus Young than he is Chris Bosh. Dude been overrated.

I think Mitchell will have more impact than Bagley but won’t be as good as Mo Bamba. I don’t know how GM’s slept just because he didn’t play college ball lol smfh, we got a steal.

Agreed. As a Knicks fan I was higher on Mikal Bridges because he is instant plug and play 3&D, but Knox was always considered one of the higher upside picks in the draft and was compared to legit scoring combo forwards like Paul George and Tobias Harris. It was just his motor and shot creating that scared teams. Kentucky guys as of late seem to have their games handicapped in the NCAA.

I agree. Didn’t understand the trade. I felt Mikal in Philly was a great fit too. Phoenix has Josh Jackson, T.J. Warren, Trevor Ariza all at that 3 spot. Ariza will likely only be there as 3&D, veteran presence for the year. T.J. is a great off-ball scorer but can’t shoot or defend, Josh Jackson rookie year was up and down and he looked like trash in the SL this year, I was never high on him. Suns got some decisions there.
