I disagree. Unless Allen was leaving after freshman year, I don’t think his stock has really changed. As for his teammates, sure they all left early, but none of those guys look like they’re gonna secure another contract, especially Okafor.

My thing with DiVincenzo is this: next year’s draft looks weak as hell. If I can’t project him to have a higher stock next year then why waste my time drafting him now?

:patrice:

What abt Winslow? If Miami doesn't keep him I think some team would be willing to take a chance on him

I said Winslow was the next coming off Dahntay Jones and they laughed :bryan:

Said Okafor wasn't even gonna be the best Okafor in the league :bryan:

Grayson and Tyus were the best thing to happen to Duke in years :mjpls:

Next years draft looks weaker, but stronger at the wings.

Allen would’ve been a late first after his freshman year, slightly earlier first the next year, 2nd rounder last year, and probably an earlier 2nd rounder this year. Ignoring the bigger picture(you lose earning years in college independent of draft stock), I think he lost money. If you’ve got good tape there’s little reason to stay.

It feels crazy to say this, but grayson will end up being the best nba player out of those 4 freshmen from duke’s 2015 team.

:francis:

Winslow a good player. Doubt Allen is that valuable. Tyus ain’t quite a scrub either.

Real crazy fact is that Quinn Cook a better pro than Okafor.

I posted it on Friday.

I'll update it on Thursday once the players start trickling back to school.

As for the Coli mock, Atlanta you are up.

Just heard a radio guy suggest the Suns trade for KAT.

He had the suns giving up the #1 pick, #16, a 1st next year, and Chriss
Hell no

I wouldnt even do the lesser Chriss and 2 picks deal.

If Ayton is what we expect him to be then KAT should be his floor. Supposedly his D needs work. Id rather take my chances and see how he does in the NBA than trade him for a guy we already know needs work on D.

Only way I'd do it is if Booker really pushed for it to reuinite w KAT.

I read an article the other day saying that of all the players that tested the waters last year but then went back to college, not a single one really improved their stock. All of them were either the same or worse. Maybe with next year’s draft projected to be a lot weaker it’ll be different for him? Granted there are some guys in recent memory who did withdraw and it work out like Porzingis & Dunn.

The biggest names(Miles Bridges, Robert Williams) didn’t but a lot of 2nd round types did help themselves with the feedback they got.
