Hawks fan here. I'm against drafting Bagley for the sole reason that the last time we had a top 3 pick we drafted a Marvin... and it didn't go well.
True, but keep in mind that Billy Knight was a terrible GM when it came to drafts. He choose Josh Childress over Andre Iguadala in '04. He picked Marvin over CP3 in '05. '06 was a weak class overall, but Sheldon Williams still ended up being the biggest bust in the class next to Barngiani. Only good pick he made was Al in '07.

I think Schlenk has a better grasp on how to get talent in the draft though so I'm not as worried.

Is Masai gonna give up on that combo? To me it sounds like he’s gonna get a new coach and trade Ibaka and/or Jonas and run it back :ld:

I think he will. You just can't win with this combo. Gotta be honest here. That starting lineup had too many defensive liabilities (JV, Ibaka, DeMar) and DeMar just did not mesh with any of the bench lineups. Lowry played at his best when he was paired with Delon, FVV, Siakam and Ibaka. But we barely saw that lineup, didn't even see it until game 3 and by then, it was too late.

Sounds good to me. :ehh:

God bless you sir, if only you were the GM and not Donnie Nelson :wow:

Last year was the first time the Kings moved up in the lottery. Pick went to Philly tho. Was shocked that they got the 2nd pick last night. Just look at all the lottery luck the Kings have had the last dozen years.

It was nice to see the Kings finally gain some fortune in the draft.Other than the Suns, the early 2000 Kings might be my favorite

squad of all time.
