Don’t sleep Isiah got a great eye for talent.. check his resume of the cats he drafted when he was the Knicks GM and the guys he traded for

He really does a good job in the draft.
  • Damon Stoudamire
  • Traded a over-the-hill Kenny Anderson for Chauncey Billups, but Grunweld didn't keep him
  • Marcus Camby
  • Tracy McGrady
  • Vince Carter over Antawn Jamison. I still remember Toronto media shytting on him for trading Jamison for Vince :mjlol:
  • Also developed Jermaine O'Neal into an all-star
That Knicks resume is rough though with all the signings he made (trading for Eddy Curry and giving up two lotto picks, signing Jerome James and Jared Jeffries to big contracts) and the Frankenstein team with Marbury, Z-Bo, David Lee and Jamal Crawford not working out was a huge black mark on his resume. Wilson Chandler was a great pick in the 20s though.

Of course the ATL
yeah that's why I kept thinking you guys liked JJJ and than I realized that not a single Hawks fan on here said a thing about wanting JJJ but the mocks and other sites seem to be up on him...I'd rather have Luka, Doncic or Porter.

There are pockets of fans online who want him (the basketball blog Peachtree Hoops are riding for JJJ HARD). The consensus here has been Bagley or Bamba with Trae Young making a nice push. To many of us JJJ reminds us of another young big man who had more potential than production and wasn't an impact player in college in UNC's Marvin Williams from the 2005 draft. We famously passed on CP3 for Marvin Williams. If Hawks GM Travis Schlenk drafts this guy I really may have to step back from the Hawks for a min...shyt is too frustrating to see us draft the same type of no impact big man with no passion, no edge and minimal skill at the top of our draft. shyts frustrating af

He knows talent when he sees it, but he doesnt put together cohesive pieces. Contrary to what people want to believe now its not just having a bunch of talented players, they gotta know how to play with each other too
