Someone sell me on Trae Young :francis:
my issue with him is he got too much of the "next steph curry" rep, and whenever that happens, it almost never works out, remember all the baby jordans that were popping up in the 90s? lol

but at 7 you have to kind of take those chances and hope you hit a homerun. young showed superstar potential in college. i doubt he could be another curry but maybe he can be his own kind of special :yeshrug:

on another note, your top pick seems to really want the bulls:

I want Mo so bad but I know it’s not gonna happen. I knew he would kill the individual team workouts/meetings. His raw athleticism shows through and his is just such a mature/sharp sounding dude. I’m accepting barring a trade up it’s not happening. Hopefully Orlando loves Trae and we can get MPJ.

article is suggesting we are behind closed doors trying to trade up to 4th. i think we could get him there, i have no idea what we would have to give to get him from memphis.

if memphis is eyeing mpj, they could trade down to us and get him at 7th, but are we willing to do 7th , 22nd and possibly a future pick for bamba? it will probably take something like that to make it happen.

Most likely a future 1st with both 1st in this class.

Memphis won't move down to 7 to get MPJ especially knowing yall are taking Bamba. If Bamba is gone mavs are snatching MPJ up at 5

@Skooby your team is up next

I heard Kostas wants to be a Buck bad

Bucks shouldn’t do it unless Giannis specifically asks for it. I don’t hate Kostas as a longer term developmental piece and I think he’s worth a 2nd rounder but there’s no way he’s worthy of a roster spot next year on a non tanking team. Seems like a bad situation waiting to happen if you’re Milwaukee.

@Poitier, this one just one of the reasons I have Bamba at 2 over Ayton on my big board. I have had them either tied @2 or Ayton over him due to his size but Bamba has more potential to me. Even when I watched the games, I been saying, Bamba offensive potential stands out more than his defensive one.

he can be really special. Hanlen got another one. Last season he was working with Tatum and you can see he worked some with Embiid and Bamba is picking up the same offensive package. Its interesting Boston has Tatum who worked with Drew and now are interested in picking up Mo if the rumors are to be believed.

Im a big believer in he and Porters talent. This draft has so many interesting players.

Watch: NBA draft scouting videos

most impressive ESPN/draftexpress videos i've seen so far for bigs is bamba (length/range is otherworldly and jumper looks dangerous), wings is knox (looked much better handling and finishing at the rim with great length), and guards allen (very explosive, handle looked improved, great footwork, and a quick lethal jumper). most underwhelming video for bigs is robert williams (looked mechanical and slow with very underdeveloped skill/mentality), justin jackson for wings (looks like he put on weight and is slow with weak handle/poor footwork), and for guards zhaire (jumper was going in, but looked very mechanical/rehearsed; same for his handle. and although plays instinctually, i question him between the ears). Hope they put out a lot more vids.

Bamba:

Knox:

Allen:

Some time back I was watching Knox go through a workout with his little brother and a trainer and this dude had such a wet jumper. Then you watch some games and he had this vibe like he could be such a good scorer but he was holding out to not be so selfish with the ball. But there were times when they needed him to score and you see that he can put up numbers in a hurry.
