Unless the rumors of Carlisle leaving is true but, Donnie Nelson even sounds like he's out on the Mo Bamba type of big men's.

Donnie Nelson is high on Michael Porter Jr.

I see the Mavericks trading back if a player they want is gone at 5.

Drafting Jaren Jackson Jr would be Hawk like. The same franchise that drafting other supreme busts like Shelden Williams, Marvin Williams, and Acie Law. Business as usual.

Drafting Marvin Bagley or Luka Doncic or Bamba would be what a smart franchise with sense would do. A shyt one does the opposite. I am hoping this is smoke screen to get Bagley to fall to #3. I am hoping that is what this is.

Jaren Jackson at #3 is an unquestioned bust. I would lose my shyt if we drafted him. Even on our board, no Hawks fan voted for him to be the pick. None of us believe in him.

I think Jackson's a better fit only because I think Bagley and Collins play the same position and would be horrible together defensively.


That said I think y'all are taking Bagley

I don't care if they are a poor defensive fit, Jackson isn't any good offensively outside of his 3pt shot that won't translate. If we are going to draft the best fit next to Collins, Bamba is the guy. If we are drafting BPA, Bagley is the guy. Either way, Collins ain't fukking good enough to stop a team from drafting Bagley. It's insane to even consider Jackson on our roster. We don't have the personnel for his game. Collins is not the only player on our roster. It's not like we have CP3 and Harden at SG where it would make sense to take JJJ. It doesn't make any sense at all.

I'd take Bamba ahead of both of them, but that's just me.
