Maybe I'm missing something but Kelly Bryant is a solid QB. I get that Sunshine is gonna be a beast but to bench your senior QB for a QB who's maybe better just seems like an overreaction to me

Very few QB's are instant starters in CFB. Lamar Jackson, Cam, Manziel, or Jameis didn't instantly start

That kid did look better than Nix though for our offense. Nix just looks like a continuation of Stidham at best to me. He might be able to run here and there, but that Hoover kid reminds me of Oklahoma's QB right now. If we pass on him, I think we made a mistake. He's not a run first QB, but he can run. That's what is needed for the breakdowns in Gus' offense. We all know there will be bad playcalls that the QB is going to have to make something out of.

Nix a better athlete than you giving credit for IMO. When you've got D1 talent all around you like Ashford especially a 5 star receiver then of course you're going to look really good

p much the same reason spurts got benched...just too evident that they have a glass ceiling w KB, at least against physical defenses. the idea as I see it is that T-Law gives them the capacity to finesse on top of them just over-talenting sorry ACC nikkas. I think with their on/off running game, you'd like to at least see a prominent passing game

He’s still a true freshman as talented as he is there’s things he hasn’t seen that KB has. Namely playing the elite teams like Bama.
