Losing these specific guys isnt bad because of them, receivers and blocking TEs are replaceable with the talent we currently have, but when you have guys that coaches made grand promises to publicly, and they never pan out, thats gonna hurt recruiting long term

Gus pretty much lied and said he would get more opportunities. Didn't happen ...

I honestly don't know why any kid with hopes of being a WR in the league would go to Auburn. And thats not a diss its just the fact the type of offense they run isn't beneficial in any way to becoming a NFL caliber WR

Every college coach lies. Those opportunities that was supposed to go to NCM went to Seth Williams. Williams just beat him out

I’m just saying it’s going to become a positional issue here where people stop just waiting for a chance to be seen as a receiver here and just book it. The theory could apply at other places but it’s gonna be especially prevalent with how little we consistently use possession guys

Even though our LB situation is shaky, I kind of hope Terrell Lewis doesn't come back, I would hate for him to have another injury before he gets a chance to go pro. If he does, hope it's more of a limited role, I think the LBs we have now will gel as we get later into the season. Lewis could easily fukk around and be a late round pick like Josh Frazier.

Yea it sucks he's never been fully healthy and had a chance to shine long term.
He could get picked up as a udfa easily, has the talent just not the healtg and time put in

Hasn't been an issue in the past. WR's know Auburn is a "run first" team. But the team is more balanced if anything now. Stidham had almost 30 attempts. I don't understand what fans actually want. Fans want Whitlow to be fed while also trying to get every receiver on the roster at least 5 catches a game. There's only so many plays in a game
