jarrett Stidham was a Heisman favorite goin into this year off the year he had in 2017
3158 yards passing 60% 18td 6int
153 yards rushing on 103 carries 4 TD

joe burrow this year
2894 yards passing 58% 16TD 5int
400 yards rushing on 128 carries 7TD

Burrow played one less game.

I don't think Burrow is goin to win the Heisman but I do see him having a big year next year

Leaving: Scarlett, Jawaan Taylor, Jachai Polite, Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, and Vosean Joseph (a mistake imo).

Staying (who could have left): Jabari Zuniga, WR's Tyrie Cleveland and Van Jefferson (even though leaving would have been a mistake), MLB David Reese (same had he left early), and DT Adam Schuler (was our best and most consistent interior lineman but never for a second was he a serious threat to leave lol).

overall, we lose 9 starters with both of our lines being hurt by graduation and the draft. The OL will be fine as we've stacked that side of the ball but the DL still lacks true big bodies in the middle.

IDK what you mean by BIG year, but it looks like he SHOULD push 25 td passes next year especially if Chase continues to get better.

I wonder if him being unpolished but having huge potential will still get him overdrafted like Josh Allen :lupe:

Who am I kidding :mjlol:, there's one notable difference between them two and we all know what that is :mjpls:

edit: "it's" already beginning

Tall and White you are a first round pick. Tall and black you are hit with the :mjpls::mjpls::mjpls:

Tyree Jackson should have transfered to a big school tho, maybe something happened during the transfer process or an agent got in his ear. Hope he made the right choice.

Oh shyt. Derrick Brown coming back for his senior year. He was a top 20 draft pick, maybe top 10 and he just had a kid :dwillhuh:
I knew he was having a hard time deciding because I thought he'd declare right after the Purdue game

I'm sure he looked. He probably didn't like his options. What big school has an open spot with a proven QB coach? I guess him and his agent decided to go to the draft since it's a weak QB class

Burrow also is unlikeable and plays for a team that has had some of the least watchable QB play of any elite team in the recent past. That’s a factor

Anyway, Gus dropped that bag off and got Derrick Brown to return :ohhh:

Source: Jaelan Phillips considering transfer to USC or Stanford
@Francium just saw this didn't know he already withdrew from UCLA. Chip fukking up bad, Phillips was y'alls best player when healthy
This one hurt bc he is Bruin legacy and just had some unfortunate luck off the field. He’s going to end up at SC and it’ll come back to haunt us for letting him “retire” instead of trying to convince him to stay.

Chip is really not vibing with Mora’s recruits, but he needs to learn that these are kids and not professionals.
