Doesn't take much to see that he isn't that good. He's 5'9'' 180 lbs with only a decent arm and decent athleticism. Pretty sure whoever been spilling the news about Fields to OSU said the stuff about Hurts, Wimbush. But either way if OSU thought Tate was the guy they wouldn't want Fields so bad. I don't buy all the "he wants to play for Ryan Day" shyt. There's 100 coaches with better resumes around the country. And OSU has 0 QB commits so obviously QB's aren't that interested in playing for him

So it's going to go back to the old days. It wasn't until the 70s when they actually cared about bowl games. They declared the national champions in November. Bowl games was just rewards but it didn't determine anything.
