But seriously wtf is going on with the Canes. These kids dropping like flies.
A lot of things holding it up, namely current staff configuration. Briles is insistent on bringing his O Line coach and really wants to bring the QB coach from UCF too. FSU trying to guarantee themselves at least 2 years in this contract so they won't be back here again next year looking for an OC. Hearing in order for Briles to commit to that, he standing tall on who he wants to bring with him. A lot of moving parts to this hire so it's taking a while to hammer down. FSU not having an AD (full time) is also making it take longer. Balancing act with the books and PR hit they're willing to take. Mike Sanford getting scooped up makes the hire that much more important to make. So I expect the details to get smoothed over now that Willie off the road and can knock it out with his staff and Thrasher. If its not announced by Monday, they hit a huge snag and it might be someone else instead of Briles.

I read that the 16 decommitts themselves would be a 30th ranked class so far which his higher than what Miami has with the 32nd ranked class

Man y'all need to get your shyt together like ASAP. Y'all got enough interest in recruits to have a top 10 class but y'all keep dikking around on the OC situation and risk losing Howell to UNC and y'all will be shyt outta luck

Yea man programs be setting themselves up with accepting commitments from kids who won't be on campus for another 3 years now a days.
The timing of Diaz hire hurt Miami more than anything. Had this happened following conference championship week, they'd have recovered by now. With it happening so close to the earlier signing period, it hasn't been enough time to fully vet a DC and get one hired and out on the recruiting trail

Waiting till early signing day is over with cause the coaches getting replaced with have to come off the trail and wouldn't be allowed to make contact with recruits. Today is a massive day in Tallahassee with all the OVs taking place

honestly....Willie should just take over the play calling and live and die by it. I know he wants to be able to oversee other shyt and what not, but I really do believe that the offense wasn't bad this year when it WAS working, it was just the inability of the OL to block and dumb ass penalties that killed y'all.
