Josh Moon, an AUB insider has said that all our boosters have formed like voltron and are willing to cover Gus's ass being outta here as long as we have a top tier coach assured...they've already identified a coach apparently....said coach wants a 'Jimbo Fisher-type contract'.

other insiders reported the Stoops meeting a couple weeks ago. The timeline falls in line together. My speculation: it has to be someone with a better rep/in a higher tier than Malzahn, with more proven success, and how many guys do you have thats really like that with a chance of coaching next year? Dabo, Urban, shorty in tuscaloosa, Stoops, Jimbo, thats about all I can think of rn. Urban has a new lease in OSU and Dabo probably wouldnt leave Clemson just yet.
