When FSU hired Taggart I felt they were goin to win the ACC. Jimbo had elite recruiting classes and Taggart was talking about running no huddle. But when Clemson bout back they're whole d-line :wow:...

Clemson can very well win it all

Clemson is their father, I wouldnt be surprised if they won

No bullshyt, FSU isnt winning first season of a new regime, new offense, slightly less brain dead CTE QB returning from injury, they gotta deal with alot. Its more on Miami to take that next step to challenge Clemson than FSU, not truly right to ask that of them (although certain fans might speak so much you'd think otherwise)

They have elite talent tho from all those top 5 recruiting classes and I think Taggart a upgrade over Jimbo bc he's goin to run the all a lot . Jimbo' offense was getting stale over there. He remind me of les where he's to stobborn to change it up.

I’m not saying it’s bad, it’s just completely unrealistic to expect them to be that good off rip

They don’t have any receivers worth a fukk and Clemson already knows how to limit their running backs enough. Until they manufacture a real, semi dependable, passing attack they won’t be back

Man please. FSU a terrible block call away from Dalvin almost single handedly beating them a year ago.....and the receivers not worth a damn include Noonie who gave them almost a 100 and a touch that game. With Blackman, no receivers, Charles Kelly defense, and Jimbo slow stale ass offense.....that game was 17-17 late with FSU driving to take the lead in Death Valley. The talent gap between the two isnt as wide as you're making it. All this "father" talk and Clemson still ain't jumped on FSU like Jameis and crew did them up in Death Valley. All these poor O Lines, shytty defenses, young QB play.....and somehow FSU still finds themselves in the game with Clemson. I think a change in philosophy with Taggart and Bell on offense, and Harlon on defense, will give FSU a great chance to compete with Clemson right off the bat.

Did you just make an entire post....about a 2018 matchup...using a game from 2016? :picard: Even if I wanted to use that as some basis, it’s well documented Dalvin was almost the entire offense every game, so to use that to say that like y’all had SO MUCH MORE to throw out there is wild :usure: the 2017 “oh it was almost like this” talk is immaterial, y’all played that game the way you played almost every L that season: in a way that depended purely on the backs and defense. Clemson can win that style of game almost every single time. As far as how close the game was, Clemson plays down to their competition more than any elite team in recent memory. I guess Syracuse and Pittsburgh got comparable talent too tho

Yeah I did, but who looked like a team better built to beat them between UM and FSU? Even if FSU’s superior defense could keep it close, you need something on the offensive end to actually put you over the top against that team. Miami’s offense, at least before that Pittsburgh game, was a speeding bullet. Their OL just got totally housed and the passing game went into the negatives though

There’s pretty simple issues that can be fixed offensively for this team for them to get back where they need to be
