Why would a QB going in the 2nd round (according to McShay) attend the draft -- with his controversial college HC no less? :patrice:

That's a public image nightmare :ohhh:

Six hours of McShay roasting my nikka :patrice:

Hate it had to by Kizer :snoop:

That is unless my nikka Ky-Ky has a promise from multiple teams in the 1st round :sas2:

You're like a guy who would stay on the Titanic as it sinks.

Its time to bail breh.

DeShone Kizer is be a bust. His public meltdown the last few weeks are the death nail.

Josh Dobbs has now passed him up on most draft boards. Louis Riddikk himself said Dobbs will be picked before him.

I told you from the jump Kizer had a p*ssy look in his eyes.

DA Draft Buzz April 22: Latest word from Miami & Cincinnati

We’re headed down the homestretch, as the 2017 NFL Draft is right around the corner. And as is the case every year, you should expect the buzz to be flying around like no other time. Here’s the latest.

Several people I’ve spoken with believe the Miami Dolphins are locked in on guard Forrest Lamp in Round 1. If a highly rated pass rusher is still available at pick 22, they may pass on Lamp and look for a guard in the second round. The two names I’m hearing associated with the team in the second frame are Dorian Johnson and Isaac Asiata. If they land Lamp in the first round, sources tell me pass rusher becomes a priority on Day 2.

As far as Lamp is concerned, the belief is that the lowest he'll drop is to the Atlanta Falcons' pick at No. 31.

There’s plenty of back and forth as to the health of speedy receiver John Ross, with word that some teams have taken him off their boards. One team that I'm told has given Ross a clean bill of health is the Cincinnati Bengals, and the receiver is in the conversation for the ninth pick of the draft. His knees were given the green light by their doctors, and the front office believes the addition of Ross to an offense that presently boasts A.J. Green, Tyler Boyd and Tyler Eifert as well as recently re-signed Brandon LaFell could make them unstoppable on that side of the ball. And now that Joe Mixon has settled his civil trial, the team would be more apt to select him in the second round, something I mentioned last month. The selection of Ross is contingent on how the team rates any available pass rusher once they are called to the clock in Round 1.

As reported yesterday, two teams left Reuben Foster off their lists of the top 32 prospects in the draft. This is going to help other inside linebackers, and the name I continue to hear rising up boards is Harvey Langi of BYU. Langi’s aggressive style of play and his junior tape -- when he lined up at inside linebacker for the Cougars -- as well as his combine and pro day workouts have all factored into the rise. The poor depth at the inside linebacker position has also given a boost to Langi’s stock. He timed 4.61s at 251 pounds at pro day after clocking 4.33s in the short shuttle and seven-flat in the three-cone in Indianapolis. The short shuttle and three-cone both rank in the top echelon of inside linebackers from the combine. Where will he land in the draft? At this point consensus is Langi won’t make it out of the fourth round and there’s a very good chance he squeezes into the third round.

In our most recent mock draft, I have the Seattle Seahawks selecting receiver Taywan Taylor in the third round. I’m told that if Zay Jones happens to fall into their laps a round earlier in the second they would quickly scoop him up, omitting the need for Taylor in the third.
