to be successful he needs to go to the right situation .

and kam is an all world strong safety who is decent in coverage, and he bodies guys on the field.

that's an insult

You wouldn't have said all that about Kam as a draft prospect. Remember he was 5th round pick for a reason. He ran 4.6 at the combine. Most people didn't think he could cover well enough to play safety in the NFL. He found a way to make it.

I think Peppers can do the same thing. As you said he needs to land on the right team and be put in the right situation. I think in that situation he can be successful.

Yea since there are a ton of 5'10'' guys who can't cover playing box safety.

How do u know he is a great leader? And his intangibles are ok they aren't great. Intelligence I'd say is far from great. And all of these players work ethics are great obviously..

U dont know shyt dont know why I even bother:russell:

Interviews from his teammates and Harbaugh.

The leadership qualities are easy to see with Jabrill. Then you got the fact he's a student of the game. He's a rat in the film room.

I just like what I've seen and heard about him off the field. He's got the type of competitive character that translates well to the NFL.

yeah they thought kam was too slow to.play safety. they told him he had to play linebacker or he wouldn't make it. kam had the size to play in the box, peppers does not, he dont even have a position.

peppers is not an "enforcer " like kam is. I don't even see the potential for it

Why wasn't he the team captain then? Why did he disappear in Michigan's biggest games?.. Some leader. Once again go watch his games against OSU and Wisconsin then come back to me. He is too small to play in the box and hasn't shown he can cover anyone. And stop comparing him to Kam Chancellor:snoop:

Peppers one of those guys that isnt close to being what he's gonna be in the future, its called upside and he has hell of it.
Not really. He is obviously limited b/c of his size. At the most he can be a nice starting safety he won't be a world beater or anything.

Look up some of the other safeties in this draft. They are bigger, more athletic and much better safeties.. they have more potential to me. Peppers should move to offense imo. He has more value there. That's the only reason any of these mock drafts have him going first round. Not his ability to play safety

Peppers only had 40 solo tackles last year. Given his athleticism at LB that is fukking awful. And we all know he had only 1 interception in his career. And it was off a tipped pass.

For some comparison, two of my favorite safeties in this draft Obi Melifonwu had 72 solo tackles last year at safety and 8 career INTs. Josh Jones had 62 solo at safety last year and 7 career INTs.....

Sure, there's bigger safeties out there but I doubt they're more athletic based on the fact that they weren't moved around and used at multiple positions. And Peppers stats are misleading, he wasn't stuck at one certain spot to produce those pretty numbers. They used him everywhere because of his versatility as a FOOTBALL player, that counts for alot.

Yikes, I see u bought in to the Peppers hype. He only played LB.. And teams are struggling to find ONE position to put him at in the NFL. The only thing he can be is a small box safety. So yea u are WAY off there. All of the safeties I named in this draft have experience at S/CB and playing in the box...

Lol how are his stats misleading? He was stuck at one position and he was awful... He was in perfect position to put up #s and he couldn't. There is no excuse for only having 40 solo tackles playing LB. That's terrible.
