Those bias media polls are subjective I think Oklahoma and FSU deserved to be ahead of USC at season's end but it is what it is you can make great case for all 3.

Texas doesn't have top 25 facilities
they fell behind?

2 factors:
1.) The whole program got stale in Mack Brown's final years and the athletics payroll was damn near as big as the revenues were. They been trying to correct that ever since, hence some of the penny pinching when Strong was there.
2.) The part of campus where the football, basketball and track facilities is being completely redefined because they are building a huge medical school campus. This means they have to tear down the Frank Erwin Center(basketball arena), so the athletic priority is building a new arena. They also want to move the new football practice facility closer to the stadium or attach it to the stadium. Right now its further away because its a tight, dense campus. But they want to knock some buildings down. On the other side of that, the stadium is basically a horseshoe shape that holds 101,000 and they want more suites and club space without adding too much capacity. So they want to complete the stadium bowl. The football facility sits where the rest of the bowl would be, so it has to be completely rebuilt onsite. So they've not done anything since like '08 but add newer weights and some paint.

lol Texas has some of the best facilities in the country obviously
no they don't. Just pure facilities, Texas would be close to last in the Big XII maybe ahead of Texas Tech. Everyone else has new, updated facilities or entirely brand new facilities.

Lol look up any top football facilities list and it has Texas on it. Just b/c their whole campus hasn't been redone in 5 years doesn't mean their shyt sucks
