Can't wait to read the daily camp reports FSU got so much on the line at WR,CB and in the return game. Hope our WRs can stay healthy we need some playmakers to step up outside of Noonie and Tate. Jimbo gonna go RBBC early in season I'm assuming we got too RBs not to.

I gotta feeling this is a bounce back season, so get used to it.

Our offense got a complete overhaul with the coaches. O-Line is bigger and older, Rosen is a lot more humble and just as accurate.

On paper, 2nd most talent in the conference behind SC and our defense has been consistently one of the best over in the PAC 12 over the past few years, even last year believe it or not. Mora just gotta get it done on the other side of the ball.

We'll see they've just been a big ass letdown UCLA was right there going into 2015 I'm not falling for the okey doke until further notice. That A&M/UCLA has potential to be very fun game and is probably the 3rd biggest game of the weekend as far as impact on season for both schools.

If u talking about Emmons, we probably should have used him when Bo went down. He's bigger than Harris and Jacobs, they couldn't fight for the extra yards to pick up first downs

Emmons gonna be Alvin Kamara 2.0. According to someone close to him who posts on a Vols fan website, he's went JUCO cause he wanna sign with Tennessee. We were one of his favorites early on last year before Saban came calling. He grew up a Tennessee fan in rural North Carolina cause of his father.

Lies.Aint no recruits in Tennessee.

Nashville/Middle Tennessee is actually one of the fast growing metro areas in the country right now. Been blowing up in population over the last 10-15 years. And Tennessee Football's recent rise in terms of becoming a power in recruiting is directly tied into that. Tennessee has another top 5 class this year thanks in large part to the in-state recruiting base. More than half their recruits are from the state of Tennessee including most of their highest ranked player. And that is with 2 of the top 5 recruits in the state being committed to Ohio State and Alabama.

Tennessee's in-state recruiting base has become one of the best in the country. After Florida, Texas, Georgia, and California (the big 4), the state of Tennessee is right there with states like Louisiana and Ohio in terms of the number of elite college football recruits it is now producing. In 2017, there were 3 composite 5-star recruits from the state of Tennessee (OT Trey Smith, WR Tee Higgins, and DB JaCoby Stevens). That's pretty impressive considered only 32 players overall are made composite 5-stars by 247 in any given year.

And as great as 2017 was in terms of top-end talent, the 2018 class in the state of Tennessee is even better because its deeper (more 4-star recruits). That depth is a major reason Tennessee has a top 5 class right now. With that said, the early reports are that the 2019 in-state class should be even better than the 2018 class. So the state of Tennessee is actually become a big time force in recruiting now. If Butch Jones can hold onto these guys like he's done so far in the 2018 class, then he'll have the ability to turn Tennessee into a consist power in the SEC like LSU thanks in large part to the in-state recruiting base.

Tennessee is filled with talent

Yup. You know this cause ya'll signed 2 of our highest ranked prospects last year (5-star DB JaCoby Stevens and 5-star LB Jacob Phillips). Clemson signed/stole 5-star WR Tee Higgins (who will be a SUPERSTAR). We were really only able to hang onto 5-star OT Trey Smith (ESPN's #1 ranked player in the country) when it comes to the 5-stars prospects from the state. That was one of the main reasons our 2017 recruiting class was ranked so low compared to previous years (like 2014 and 2015) when we landed top 5 classes. Our in-state recruiting base was raided.

This year we have done a much better job hanging onto the top players from the state of Tennessee and that has resulted in a top 5 class right now. 2019 in-state recruiting base should be even better. So as long as Butch Jones can find a way to keep Tennessee kids from leaving the state for programs like LSU, Clemson, Ohio State, Florida State, and Alabama, we should be a perennial top 10 team in recruiting. The in-state recruiting base in the state of Tennessee has EXPLODED lately. A good argument could be made that after Florida, Georgia, Texas, and California, that Tennessee is right there with Louisiana and Ohio in that very next tier of states that produce the most division 1 football talent.
