Big Ben gets hurt every year. Its inevitable that Dobbs will start this year. I predict the Tony Romo/Dak situation happens again. Big Ben gets injured early. Dobbs lights it up. Pittsburgh tells Big Ben to sit while they ride Dobbs hot hand.
And FTR Dobbs isn't an option QB. He ran the read option at Tennessee out of necessity cause his o-line was horrible. They needed the threat of the QB run to keep d-lineman honest. Remember, when he was being recruited out of high school, he wasn't considered a "dual-threat QB". He was rated as a pro-style QB: Joshua Dobbs, Alpharetta, Pro-Style Quarterback
You and everyone else that watches college football will be shocked by how good he will be in the NFL. He's the second coming of Randall Cunningham. With the talent around him Pittsburgh, don't be surprised if he has a season like 1998 Randall Cunningham next year.
