Yu can say the game against UM was a fluky game in y'all favor. No team that loses 63-10 to a mediocre team is top 4 idc how yu try to spin it. Realistically FSU was middle of the pack last season. You guys didn't have a brutal schedule only 4 of ur opponents finished ranked, only two of em in the top 15 and y'all went 2-2 against those teams.

We played an Ole Piss team that was red hot in September they were up 3 tds on FSU and Bama and absolutely destroyed UGA. Louisville was probably the best team at end of September they were a machine. USF had an explosive offense and ended up going 11-2 top 15-20 team and UNC was another offense that was on fire had the #1 QB they won on a fluke 54 yard fg last play. Miami was red hot and ranked in top 10. Clemson Florida and Michigan all top 10-15 level teams plus we had to play an improved Wake and won at always dangerous Raleigh over an NC State team that's showing signs.

I wouldn't say that they were championship contenders, but at the time I thought that that lost would have broke their spirit but they shrugged it off. They had Clemson against the ropes, but the refs pulled some late game fukkery especially with that clipping call.

OL completely tanked when we got on Clemson end of field last drive worst case scenario should been fg attempt to send game to OT
