I understand what he did, but it baffles my mind that OU can't recruit or hold onto their top tier DL or LB talent. We are one MLB/ILB and a couple DE's from being a national championship contender and recruits are choosing mediocre Oregon, and possibly, over-rated LSU over OU.

You can go pro from any school; if you're good enough, you'll get drafted.

well, Mike Stoops doesn't help....and we've had 3 DL coaches in 3 years. So it'll take Thib a min to establish himself.

But the perception of no D in the Big 12 is what I think hurts us overall.

Oregon has always had trouble recruiting DT's and really relied heavily on Polynesian connections to fill those spots heavily under Belotti. That seemed to wane under Chip, as he went with tall lanky players to fill the DL.
Coach Joe should really help the Ducks build back its Polynesian connection and along the DL.

Fauliu was friends with Popo and Slade-Matautia who are also committed. Let's see if Willie can secure the other two from that group of friends Cyrus Habibi-Likio and Josh Falo.
