So coach O out there camp blockin :dame:
Belhaven University head coach Hal Mumme confirmed he's been in contact with the NCAA about alleged actions by LSU head coach Ed Orgeron to block football camps.

Justin Nails of 99.1 The Game passed along the latest update Thursday.

"The kids that got hurt are not the kids LSU and Texas are going to recruit," Mumme said during his appearance on 99.1 The Game.

On Wednesday, Pete Thamel of Sports Illustrated reported a camp held by Belhaven, a Division III program, was cancelled after pressure from LSU. Texas was among the out-of-state schools expected to take part in the event.

Orgeron didn't address the issue directly during a Thursday morning appearance on 104.5 ESPN Radio, but he talked about creating in-state opportunities for Louisiana prospects, per Chris Vannini of Coaching Search.
"I love the state. We're the flagship school. We want to give every man, every player in the state of Louisiana great opportunities. We're doing that," he said. "We've brought in every state school to our camp, recruit the guys."
Mumme argued the tactics used by Oregeron and LSU to block his camp because of Texas' expected attendance would only hurt prospects not on the radar of Power Five schools. Vannini pointed out the Tigers head coach downplayed that idea on Thursday.

"A lot of times, when you have Louisiana Tech there, Louisiana-Lafayette, Louisiana-Monroe, McNeese State, they're waiting for the guys we don’t offer, and they offer," he said. "What a great opportunity for our young men."

It's unclear what type of action the NCAA could take against Orgeron based on Mumme's claims if it determines any wrongdoing occurred.
