Well ya know it's a regional thing with Nashville being in the Deep South, if the Thrashers stayed in Atlanta and made the Cup, it would be the same thing.

But Hockey is definitely buzzing is the south at the moment :pachaha:

up here though in Huntsville hockey has always been a thing. UAH has a team that's won in the past. Also a minor league franchise, the Havoc. I went to a UAH game years ago and it was a lot more fun than I thought. Better to be at the game than watch it on T.V. for sure. Now the Predators are only 2 hours away, so that's another thing for hockey fans in Huntsville. Not as high scoring as basketball, but faster paced up and down the rink.
